For as long as I can remember, I’ve always tried to get people to realize that there is more than one way of doing or seeing things. It was more important for me to acknowledge that while many people might think of something as one thing, there is always an opportunity to see something different. That is why, for my project, I tried to reimage what nature truly is.
When thinking about nature there is something comforting and relaxing. It’s colourful, refreshing, and simple, allowing people to maintain a sense of calm. Which is why for my project, I wanted to explore what it would be like to mess with nature and how sometimes bringing in an unnatural element or colour affects someone. It brings a refreshing perspective to what nature is. During the process of creating this portfolio, I went on an adventure and tried to highlight that there’s always another way to see something.
